Daily Carpet Care
Carpet requires some basic care and maintenance to look great. Learn more below!
Daily carpet care involves vacuuming your carpet floors. By vacuuming up your carpet, you are working to remove dirt, dust, and other debris that are present in the fibers. Debris, if left unattended, can harm your carpet and its fibers. How often you vacuum will depend on the traffic that your carpeted rooms receive.
Entry mats will help to limit the amount of outside debris that enters your home. You should also remove shoes before walking across your carpet. We'll discuss stain care and more in the section below.
Solid Messes
For solid messes, use your vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and other debris in a timely manner. The longer you wait to address the mess, the more likely it is to cause lingering damage to your carpet. Vacuum regularly to ensure that dirt and other solid messes do not harm your carpet floors.
Liquid Spills
When a liquid spill or accident takes place, the key is to act fast. If a liquid accident happens, clean it up immediately to avoid long-term damage. Grab a cloth and absorb the liquid before dabbing at the stain with a cloth dipped in cold water. If this doesn't do the trick, consult your manufacturer.
